Are you tired of...

  • Paying for shared leads?
  • Not having enough referrals?
  • Expensive marketing agencies?
  • Paying for Paid Online Ads that don't convert?

There's a better way

More than 70,000 homeowners get council approval for major development projects across NSW every year. We watch the approvals every morning and post a branded letter in your name - before your competitors even know the job exists.

We built this just for you

By the time a DA is approved, the main builder is already chosen. The downstream trades are not. That's your window.

Pool fencing

A pool approval legally requires a child-safety barrier. The homeowner chooses it, not the pool builder.

Pool approvals

Granny flats & secondary dwellings

Its own approval, the homeowner is the buyer. Big-ticket jobs arranged independently of any builder.

Secondary dwelling approvals

Demolition & asbestos

Knock-down-rebuild consent. Asbestos removal is legally required on older homes before any work starts.

Demolition approvals

Arborists

Tree and vegetation removal tied to new builds and pools. A separate permit, a separate decision.

Tree and vegetation permits

Driveways & crossovers

New driveways and council crossovers the homeowner arranges. A separate approval from the build itself.

New build + extension approvals

Landscapers

Pools and new builds. The outdoor work owners arrange themselves after the builder is done.

DA + CDC approvals

Set it up once. We handle it forever.

Things you'll probably ask us

How effective is direct mail advertising in my industry?
Tradespeople who reach homeowners first — before word-of-mouth kicks in — win the job at a significantly higher rate than those who respond to an ad. A physical letter addressed to a home that just got council approval for the exact work you do is one of the highest-signal, lowest-competition touches you can make. Most of our early users report response rates well above typical digital ads.
Why can't I mail homeowners myself?
You can — but finding the approvals, matching them to addresses, writing the letters, printing, and posting takes hours per week that you'd rather spend on the tools. We do all of it automatically, same-day, for less than the cost of a coffee per letter.
Is this legal? Where do you get the data from?
Yes. Our data comes from the NSW Government ePlanning Portal — it's public record, published under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. Posting a letter to a home address is a lawful and everyday commercial practice. We never sell or share personal contact details; the address is the only thing we use, and it's already on the public record.
How do I ensure homeowners respond, don't they get a lot of mail?
Timing is the difference. Your letter arrives within days of council approval — before the homeowner has found anyone, before a sign goes up, before the project is even widely known. A well-timed letter about work the homeowner is already planning is read. Generic junk mail is not. We also include a QR code linking to a short intro video you record once, so the homeowner can put a face to the name before they call.
What data sources do you use?
NSW ePlanning Portal — the official government source for DA (Development Application) and CDC (Complying Development Certificate) approvals. Every record we send on your behalf traces back to a real application number. Published under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 and attributed on every digest and letter.
What areas do you cover?
Currently NSW — metro and key regional councils including Hills Shire, Blacktown, Cumberland, Liverpool, Penrith, Central Coast, and more. Use the map above to draw your coverage area and see real approval volumes. We're adding councils regularly; sign up to see exactly what's available in your suburbs.
How much does this service cost?
Prepaid credit packs — no subscription. 100 letters for $700 ($7/letter). 400 letters for $2,500 ($6.25/letter). Credits never expire; top up anytime. Sign-up is free and lets you see the approval feed and coverage map before you commit.
Can I get exclusivity for each home I contact?
Yes. We send one letter per approved property per trade niche. If you're a pool fencer in Kellyville, no other pool fencer gets a letter to that address — first in, locked. Your territory is yours until you stop using it.
What work do I need to do to use LeadPost?
Sign up, pick your trade and suburbs, approve your letter template once, and buy a credit pack. From there, everything is automatic — we scan for approvals daily and post letters in your name the same day. You do nothing until your phone rings.
Are you available in states outside of NSW?
Not yet. NSW is our launch state because the ePlanning Portal provides clean, structured public data. Victoria and Queensland are next on the roadmap — sign up and we'll let you know as soon as your state is live.
